Even when she wasn't she was in tiny sandals that were hardly worth wearing! After this there was Racquel Welch in 1 Million Years BC and Fathom, and later Britt Ekland in The Man with the Golden Gun, running around in their bare feet and really setting me off on my foot fetish. But Anne Francis in Forbidden Planet is still the ultimate barefoot goddess for me!

2017-04-30 05:27:25 I was actually reading about Forbidden Planet and why Anne Francis was barefoot throughout. The costume designer actually made her several pairs of delicate sandals which looked great but were cripplingly uncomfortable, so she asked the cinematographer to film her but not show her feet. He refused, she said she wouldn't wear the sandals, so she went barefoot. And thus was the genesis of my foot fetish.
